CLA of Marion & Polk Counties, Oregon

About

Our Story

In 2007, Beth Jones felt called to minister to at-risk mothers and children in her community. She began praying and, with the support of her church family, launched a nonprofit ministry called Bambinos in Dallas, Oregon (www.BambinosOregon.org). For the next decade, Beth served as the volunteer director of Bambinos. During that time, she saw firsthand how many families were navigating not only practical and relational challenges, but also serious unmet legal needs that often stood in the way of stability and hope.

In 2018, she enrolled at Willamette University College of Law and became an attorney. After several years practicing as a civil litigator, Beth felt a renewed call back to ministry in 2024. Alongside her legal practice, she founded Christian Legal Aid of Marion and Polk Counties in Salem, Oregon. In July 2025, Beth accepted the full-time position of national director of Christian Legal Aid.
This work is made possible through the support and partnership of others who share the same heart for service. Ministries such as Salem First Baptist, Bambinos, and Embrace Grace, along with dedicated volunteers, come alongside this mission to help connect individuals and families with much-needed legal guidance.
At its heart, this ministry seeks to strengthen the relationships already being built in our community and the lives being changed through them—offering pro bono legal advice rooted in compassion, service, and faith.
